From the reviews
I have to say my experience with Thrive Integrative Health has exceeded my expectations. Dr. Ariel is amazing. Each appointment session we chat about my progress to make sure I am improving. The knowledge of these Acupuncturist are over the top.
I was a skeptic, but found a fabulous practitioner (Tessa) who explains health benefits of each treatment. She tailors each session to respond to my body's needs, and uses multiple techniques including accupuncture, moxa and cupping. Great outcomes for me! The office itself is very comfortable.
I am most grateful, thankful and honored to be a patient of the finest-Angel Acupuncturist (this world needs to know about…), Xiaojian/Joanna‼️ My dear Joanna is an amazingly beautiful and stellar soul; very compassionate provider who genuinely cares about the wellbeing of others (no matter who you are~senior-citizen…
Where do I even begin? THANK YOU Thrive Integrative Health! Thank you so much! After many years of unexplained infertility, several rounds of failed IUI’s, we were very nervous. Quickly approaching forty, we kept asking questions, explored options and we decided to switch fertility clinics.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
