What clients say about the cupping here
“I went in for a massage with Anna Shats after having muscle pain around my upper back and neck where it was affecting my sleep for a few weeks.”
“She was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain every tool and technique she was using and how it would specifically help my problem areas.”
“Both ladies did a great job on listening to my requests to focus on specific problem areas I have and it felt much more tailored than the experiences I’ve had at chain places.”
“The space itself is beautiful, spotless, and calming, and they offer an extended list of unique services, aimed to address complex health challenges.”

From the reviews
I had chronic pain in my shoulders, neck, and back for a long time and tried different places before, but nothing really made a lasting difference. I found Anna through a Facebook group - people were calling her work “magic,” which made me skeptical at first, especially with BFM.
I wish I could fully put into words how amazing Anna Shagalova is as a massage therapist, but it’s hard to capture just how exceptional she truly is. She genuinely cares about her clients and is deeply committed to helping you feel better.
I was in search of a place to go get a massage ; since I do alot of construction and it’s very hard on the body . I found this local place called TheraWave wellness. I like that there not a franchise and try to push you into a monthly plan. But care more about your overall wellness .
I first scheduled an appointment with Anna Shats over a year ago for a craniosacral massage. She listened to me describe my chronic pain and suggested instead that we do sessions with her method of Biodynamic Fascial Modulation, a holistic approach that is so gentle and soothing I often fall asleep on the table.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
