From the reviews

Lisa is AMAZING!! My son and I have been coming to her for massages, cupping and acupuncture for over 6 months now. Lisa is now in her new location off Century Ave and it is lovely! We try to see her weekly.

I had an incredible massage with Lisa! She is extremely knowledgeable in deep tissue work, acupressure points and muscle connectivity. Her expertise allowed her to immediately identify and address the areas I’ve been struggling with, leaving me with more range of motion and less pain.

★★★★★ — Jane, Oct 2024

Best massage I’ve ever had. She knew all my health issues and gave me great tips on prevention. She added cupping session free of charge. I feel like a real person again, thank you sooo much! I will be back.

★★★★★ — Marisa, Apr 2026

I've had two massages from Lisa and plan on returning. She is a very knowledgeable, hard-working, and professional massage therapist. Lisa tailors the massage to what she observes about your body and its tissues, and spends extra time on problem areas.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
