If you’re looking for therapeutic, deep-tissue/pressure point massage, Caleb is your guy at Elements Massage in Middleton, WI. He always takes time to listen to me and my pain points. After years of seeing various massage therapists, he listens and does everything he can to help and heal.
I have received massages from Caleb over the past year on a monthly basis and cannot explain how great of a therapist he is. His knowledge of anatomy on how the body works is amazing. I go in and explain my situation at the start of the session he can tell right away which areas need the most work.
First time at elements massage and I was highly impressed. The staff were all very friendly and the scheduling process was a breeze. I did a 90 minute massage with Joel and he was fantastic. I usually see chiropractors for back issues but Joel was able to relieve much of my tension.
I usually go to the Sun Prairie location, but I saw that there was last minute availability at Elements Massage Middleton. Very happy I booked the appointment! John has a lot of experience under his belt and it was very evident throughout the massage.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
