I am no Stranger to the benefits and enjoyment of a good massage. I’ve been getting them for about 25 years. I have went a lot of places and had many therapists to work on problem areas that range for excellent to not so great but today I was blown away. My massage was exceptional!
I’ve been to the Retreat twice now. My first trip was mid 2025 for a couples massage– and it was subpar. I won’t name the staff member (no longer there), but she was highly recommended from the reviews at the time.
I had an incredible massage session today with Mr. Greg! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, and Mr. Greg was extremely professional, attentive, and knowledgeable. He took the time to listen to my needs and customized the massage exactly to what my body needed.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
