I have a lot of back problems and The Now has helped me so much. I can genuinely feel a difference in my day to day since I started coming here. I’ve had a handful of therapists here and all of them have been amazing at listening to your body’s needs. Added bonus is how clean and relaxing the environment is.
If you need a reset, this is the place. The NOW has perfected the calming aesthetic, but the actual service is even better. Amber was my therapist and she was wonderful!! This location is very nice and relaxing. I usually see James, he is a wonder with his hands. Every visit I feel comfortable and confident that he will address my issue by the end of my appointment. Give him a try you won't regret it.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
