I get a 1 1/2 hour massage from Sham at Elements Massage in Frisco at Main and Legacy every 2 weeks. I have severe arthritis in my neck and lower back and have experienced a significant increase in range of motion in my neck and reduction of chronic pain in my lower back since I started getting massages from Sham.
*UPDATE* (2nd visit) Hope gave me the best massage ever HANDS DOWN. You can tell she is very knowledgeable as she knew what areas, pressure points etc to work. She was so great in starting to think if $40 was a big enough tip! Thanks so much hope! I’m already booked for my next appointment with her.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
