I finally tried Neuromuscular Studio for a 90 minute massage and it was fantastic. Macio was excellent in his knowledge, communication, technique, and care during my massage. I learned some new information regarding the achilles which was pretty cool.
It's rare, but every once in a while you get lucky and come across a business that strives for excellence. My first visit was today but it certainly won't be my last. Josh Salgado will be my forever expert and master healer. I cannot thank Neuromuscular Studios enough.
I visited Neuromascular for the first time on Saturday . I was having severe pain in my neck & shoulders. I have had pain for awhile and had already visited a chiropracter and physiotherapist with limited success. My appointment was for one hour with David . He was very punctual and made me feel comfortable.
After 3 weeks of continuous nagging back/shoulder/neck pain, I made an appointment with David at the Neuromuscular Studio. After one treatment, the pain was resolved.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
