From the reviews
Cannot recommend Dr. Abby enough! From pain management to microneedling, she is absolutely incredible. Last year, I was in excruciating pain from slipped discs and pinched nerves. Her Acupuncture was the only thing that relieved the pain and allowed my back to heal (I had tried it all)!
1000 stars if I could! Not only is Abby an incredible resource, but truly brilliant, deeply insightful and (my favorite thing about her) solution oriented. In my opinion, she’s the perfect blend of East meets West in her approach to healing and I trust she always has my best interest when I come in.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Elizabeth at The Modern Acupuncturist! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, heard, and truly cared for.
ABBY I want to cry - dance - flip - do the uneven bars ( a past dream ! ) - because, I feel that I can!!!⭐️ The Acupuncture treatment protocol that you did - up and down my spine , gentle stim was miraculous. I hopped out of bed no soreness no pain like I can't remember how many long years ago.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
