From the reviews
I have been going to Elements for years and Gene is always professional and takes care of any concerns I have. The front desk staff, especially Beth, Brendan and Julie, are courteous and hospitable. Recently they have switched from providing water bottles at the end of sessions to just cups of water.
The location is brand-new, tastefully decorated, clean and zen. The background music is very relaxing and the lighting is perfect. The owner is on site since it is their grand opening and does an excellent job making sure everything runs smoothly. Everyone working there is welcoming and friendly.
If you’re in need of a good massage, look no further! The front desk staff are the best, Kelsey and Hannah are always very welcoming and happy to see me when I come in. The waiting room is so nicely decorated and comfortable while you’re waiting to be seen, and it smells great in there from the aromatherapy they use!
Everyone at the front desk is personable and gets to know each one of their customers. They are extremely knowledgeable about the product and go out of their way to answer my questions. Scheduling with them is 1-2-3. I can't say enough about the young ladies in Hanover.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
