From the reviews

I am not an elegant review writer, however I can not stop telling people about the hope I have found in acupuncture with Ross. I have been suffering for the last four years with inflammation in my most of my joints.

★★★★★ — Kim, Sep 2014

I have seen a number of different Acupuncturists over the years and Ross is one of the best. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, I help a lot of people with pain. When I or my patients have back pain, I realize Chiropractic care and massage may not always be enough. That's why I saw Ross.

★★★★★ — Kevin, Oct 2015

Acupuncture is really helping with my sore shoulder, hot flashes and night sweats. So glad not to be putting poison drugs in my body.

★★★★★ — Barbara, Sep 2020

In just 2 sessions Ross was able to completely relieve the excruciating pain I had experienced for the last 13 years. Hip, back and IT Band pain, that ultimately affected most of my left side. I had a huge knot in my IT Band. 1 needle right atop the knot and Hallelujah!! It's actually been life changing.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
