From the reviews
I can not say enough about Dr Ev! As a lifetime dancer and athletic person, I suddenly developed severe tendinitis in my left shoulder. I had never tried acupuncture and since I usually favor going a more natural route, I found this to be a wonderful solution.
I love running and hiking and last year in one of my hiking I got injured on my right bunion. My life was miserable until I learned Echo Acupuncture treats bunions.after two sessions I could sleep without pain. I’ll continuo going for more sessions until I can be ready for a long trip. Thanks Dr Juniper,
Dr. Ev has put me at ease since day one with her welcoming gentleness. My case is chronic and I’ve been seeing her for a month now. She has been attentive and an excellent listener. She answers every question thoughtfully. I know she is invested in my wellness with the care and flexibility of each treatment.
The acupuncture I received from Dr. Ev was exactly what I needed. I'm in a period of significant change and carrying some (entirely appropriate) stress along with it, so I came in for an extended care wellness session. The treatment room was serene, and Dr. Ev matched that with her own energy.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
