From the reviews
I’ve never written a review, so this is big! Liz is truly a master at what she does. She’s professional, intuitive, and really understands the human body. I’ve dealt with upper back tension for years, and after a recent injury made daily tasks difficult, I finally booked a massage. All I can say is wow.
One of my favorite places in Boone! I have been seeing Liz for most of my pregnancy for prenatal massage she has been outstanding. She is positive, caring and always listens to what my needs are. I feel so blessed to have had her walk alongside me through pregnancy!
I saw Liz for a Thai massage and let me tell you.. I will not be going back for any other type of massage ever again. It was a perfect blend of manual stretching and mobilizing with very facilitated pressure.
This was my first visit to The Care Collective and it will not be my last! The atmosphere when you walk in is so relaxing and peaceful. The staff is very kind and helpful. Cree was amazing! I appreciated how she talked to me before the massage began and really listened to me. Her skills are top notch.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
