From the reviews

I have chronic pain and had my first massage with Michelle. It was an amazing experience and opened my eyes to how much tension I’ve carried. I definitely plan on coming back. Bonus: the cups used for cupping are heart shaped and the marks they left are very cute.

I have been seeing Michelle for almost 12 years and I can't imagine going anywhere else for a massage. She is thorough and extremely knowledgeable. She is attentive to all the details you don't necessarily notice, but that make the whole experience comfortable, relaxing, and healing.

★★★★★ — Rebekah, Jun 2024

Had an absolutely amazing massage with Michelle today! Michelle is so kind and soft spoken and made me feel seen and heard. Unlike other massage therapists, Michelle approached my problem areas with gentle but firm pressure. She was very attentive to my comfort level.

★★★★★ — Jenny, Jun 2024

So glad Michelle was able to accommodate a short notice booking for me because I've been going back ever since! She takes time to physically assess problem areas and create a really positive therapeutic experience. Great service, communication, and environment - highly recommend.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
