From the reviews
I have visited many clinics, but this is the only one that inserts acupuncture needles without inflicting pain or discomfort. Dr. Kang also, does the clinic perform excellent cupping and provide you with effective herbs medication. I really appreciate how Dr.
Dr. Kang was very thorough and knowledgeable. I had acupuncture and cupping and really appreciated the quality and care during the appointment. I recommend anyone with unmanaged pain to see Dr. Kang!
Couldn't recommend him enough! Every time I go in, I leave feeling great afterwards. The cupping machine feels so good I almost fall asleep sometimes. I wish he did massages too, but he's an acupuncturist so he does acupuncture. And again highly recommended. I still have the lower back pain, but going to him helps out.
Dr Khang is definitely very experienced and skillful. He did cupping, infrared, electrical stimulated to relax my tense muscles. I definitely felt the difference after my 2nd treatment.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
