Cathi does an amazing job! Had my first 2hr deep tissue massage and facial cupping for TMJ and I was thoroughly impressed! Her website is soooo easy to book an appointment through. Location was a little confusing to find at first but it’s inside the Prince Properties building.
Cathi made me feel super comfortable and explained everything thoroughly prior to starting. I had never had cupping done before and she exceeded all expectations! I can’t wait to be back and will be referring her to anyone and everyone!
Cathi McKee is very professional and has been always able to take care of my problem areas.
Love this place. It’s hard to find good quality massages these days and this place definitely has it!!! Thank you Cathi, I will be making more appointments.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
