I've always struggled with loving my skin (large pores, dark spots, surgery scaring) and I have since learned to love it again thanks to Ann. I've been coming to Bellisimo Salon & Spa monthly since November 2023 and after every session I leave feeling refreshed and confident. Ann is absolutely amazing!
The whole experience was wonderful. Coming in the lobby, we were warmly greeted. Once we checked in, I was offered a wine, while my friend had a water. The waiting was so relaxing, the chairs were very comfortable, while a screen displayed their other services and a fountain and spa music played.
I reserved a couples massage and couples float for our 25th wedding anniversary. We had gotten massages before while we were on a cruise and enjoyed them but those massages were mere child’s play compared to what we experienced here.
Great customer service (from reservation to checkout) & beautiful decor. Massage therapist did what I asked; REALLY good massage...& didn't talk much 🙌🏽😆 Only con: didn't like the face massage. It was more like being molded into a daffy duck sculpture...my lips, eyebrows...
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
