From the reviews
I highly recommend team rehab the staff is very friendly and Mike and Jess are the best my recovery has been a journey but the therapist work on your specific injuries and needs cupping therapy is the best technique I’ve ever experienced.I appreciate everyone there.
I'm 4 weeks in. This is how recovery should feel. Feeling heard. Moving at your own pace. Understanding your body better. Michael has truly perfected therapeutic care. Under his guidance, you feel supported, heard, and in good hands. He takes time to explain your injury in a way that’s easy to understand.
I was very nervous prior to starting treatment following my injury about a month ago. Mike, my therapist, and Heather, assistant and receptionist have been nothing short of amazing since the moment I walked through the door. The team here makes me feel welcomed, seen, heard, and optimistic about making a full recovery.
The Tinley Park Team Rehab office is amazing! It’s a modern and updated facility. Everything is clean and the vibes are great with the music! Heather at the front desk is always welcoming, friendly and is super flexible with scheduling.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
