From the reviews
I saw Dr. Wang for acupuncture and cupping twice a week for a little over a month, and I've never felt such a drastic improvement in my neck pain and general health.
I hardly need to add another five star review, as there are already so many. My husband and I were both treated by Dr. Wang for unexplained infertility (inability to conceive after 20 months). She worked with us individually, improving both of our qualities of life. She is very kind and thorough.
Dr. Wang has helped improve my quality of life. I received treatment for Trigeminal Neuralgia pain for a total of 2 months. When I first came to her my pain level was at 10. After my third session my pain had decreased to 5/10. By my 6th session my pain was down to 2.
Recently I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsey which developed from Lyme Disease. I was prescribed a steroid and round of antibiotics from my PCP. Given the unknown recovery time for Bell's Palsey, I immediately began researching ways to recover quickly and fully. I found Dr.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
