“I was shocked with the results after my first visit and all the ones following.”
From the reviews
Dr. Abigail Thomas is thorough and takes her time to explain test results and plan of care. Her gentle approach of said care has been a life changer for me. The office team is welcoming, efficient and kind. Dr. Abigail Thomas and Taylor Family Wellness Chiropractic is for sure a 5 Star recommendation.
I’ve been going to a chiropractor for 25 years, but the NUCCA technique has been a game changer. I was shocked with the results after my first visit and all the ones following. Dr. Taylor is very kind as well as all the staff.
Dr. Thomas is amazing! After only a few visits I can really notice a difference in my back pain.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
