From the reviews

…Her use of techniques like cupping and gua-sha tools made the session even more effective, striking the perfect balance between relaxation and therapy. I highly recommend Tara to anyone seeking an amazing massage therapist!

★★★★★ — Kimberly, Sep 2025

…Her knowledge of massage, and experience and training with cupping and gua sha means she delivers a very individualized treatment. My low back and hip flexors have never been better. Marathons are in my past, but I still see her periodically for a “tune up”, help with old injuries and help with aches and pains.

★★★★★ — Erin, Jun 2025

…The techniques that I find most beneficial for myself are cranial sacral because I carry a lot of stress in my neck and head, the abdominal massage for my GI issues and cupping. She always finds the root cause of your pain. She never stops learning ways to improve her craft. Highly recommend Tara.

★★★★★ — Kristin, Dec 2025

…She does a great job getting my tight muscles to relax by using cupping and massage. I feel so much better after the cupping especially. Tara always listens to my needs and makes sure to address them during each appointment. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great therapeutic massage!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
