From the reviews
One of the best massage experiences I’ve ever had! Suzanne came to my home and worked on areas that needed some TLC and even found spots I didn’t know I needed work on! Very knowledgeable and gave me great advice for work I can do myself at home. If you’ve never had facial cupping, consider letting her do it for you.
After nearly a year since my last massage, I thought to ask Suzanne if she takes on new clients when I learned she's an LMT. My first massage after all this time was a learning and relaxing experience in which she pointed out a couple of issues my body was undergoing and worked to relieve me of my stress and tightness.
Suzanne is an incredible therapist! She is an incredibly passionate and caring person and those qualities really translate into her professional demeanor. She takes time to listen to your personal needs and past experiences and tailors her massage techniques to you individually.
I have had many massages over my 76 year lifespan, and I can certainly vouch for Suzanne’s knowledge and ability as a therapist. She is constantly in tune with your body’s reactions to her applied pressure and massage techniques, allowing you to truly relax even when she’s working on those difficult knots and tension…
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
