From the reviews

I had a wonderful massage with Nico. I got “The Fix” and added cupping. She took the time to figure out what was bothering me and where my pain was coming from. I feel 10x better after my service! The spa was clean, calm, and quiet. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a professional massage!

The staff at Sanctuary Healing Spa is absolutely wonderful. I was in from out of town and my husband got me a spa day for my birthday....they really made me feel welcomed. From the moment I walked in and was greeted to the end of my services every interaction I had was great.

The space itself is absolutely beautiful and tranquil, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. Every bliss room feels like a private escape, and the staff are as kind and professional as they come. You’re not just a client at Sanctuary Wellness Spa, you’re treated like a goddess.

I love Sanctuary Wellness Spa. I come roughly once a year as a treat and always look forward to it. The staff is so friendly, the facilities are so clean, and the prices are reasonable. They always make me feel comfortable and relaxed and make the session my own. I am already looking forward to my next treatment.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
