From the reviews

I’m excited about this spa. Enjoyed my time but have some pointers for you. I want you to be successful and stick around. Welcoming walk ins is great. However don’t take a client if you truly don’t have time for them. Hire a front desk staff member.

I have pretty high standards for spa and wellness experiences, and I was really impressed with this new massage place! I popped in after my monthly visit to Honey Glow next door. It's a walk-in kind of place, they offer full service, but it's one of those places that feels more like foot massage / chair massage.

I’ve had two massages at Sun-Shine Massage and can honestly say this has been one of the most effective experiences I’ve ever had. I have significant back issues — scoliosis with multiple curves, a history of lower back surgery, and a hip replacement — and I’ve struggled with ongoing hip pain for years.

Highly Recommend! Had an amazing experience at Sunshine Massage and Spa! I got the combo foot and deep tissue massage, and my partner had the head spa treatment. Both were excellent - the therapists were skilled, the atmosphere was relaxing, and we left feeling completely refreshed. Definitely worth a visit!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
