Dr. Darius Cook is so kind and gentle in his touch, and he is incredibly thorough in his assessments. The treatment he has provided has been super effective for my issues in my neck and upper back.
I came in after having to go to the ER with severe sciatica pain. Turned out I had a herniated disk pressing against a lot of nerves. Dr Drew looked at the diagnosis from the ER, asked me questions and did some tests and didn't waste time with an expensive x-ray.
I've been seeing chiropractors off and on for my whole life, I have never had anyone spend as much time explaining to me the reasons behind my issues and what things I could do on my own that would strengthen and align my body in a way that would keep me from needing continual chiropractic.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
