I recently discovered Sufei Spa, located close to my home, and I am so glad I did. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is great, and my experience was perfect. I’m training for an event next month and booked a deep tissue massage with Amy to offset the muscle cramps I’ve been having.
One of the best massages I got in Chesterfield area ! Lisa did an excellent job and focused on every problem area I had without me having to ask. Only experience I would ask for to change is the face rest. It was a bit hard / rough surface to keep my head down. Rooms are clean and ambiance was good.
A magnificent experience! Arthur and Mia took their time with my husband and I. Got knots out of my back and shoulders that have been present for who knows how long. We were able to make same day appointments on Easter Sunday. We will definitely be back. Let's make it a monthly service.
We selected the couples massage combo. The place was clean, not overly perfumed. Oil was partially used which we liked. Overall, I would come back.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
