From the reviews
Dr. Shufang has been so helpful and a joy to work with. I first saw her over 15 years ago when I was having infertility issues and had to go through two cycles of IVF to have my twin daughters. Before my second IVF cycle, I saw Dr.
I have seen Dr. Shufang for ailments for which I could not get relief using traditional Western medicine: an inflamed insect bite, recurring shoulder pain/stiffness after surgery--as well as general health consulting. If you come with an open mind, you will get positive results like me, because Dr.
I have known Dr Shufang for years. Not only has she resolved specific medical problems, she has also increased my overall quality of wellbeing.
Dr. Shufang is incredible. She took great care of my daughter's sprained ankle. She took a lot of time to go over the diagnosis clearly and explained the necessary treatment. She is a very kind and compassionate doctor who genuinely cares about her patients. Dr.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
