From the reviews
Heather has been a god-send! I initially came in for my lower back, but she has also helped significantly reduce my migraines. Yay me! I was getting them every other day, but now I might get them once a week depending on the weather or stress.
I had never tried acupuncture before. I had heard about it but was skeptical. I had been very depressed after the passing of my mom and had been on medicine. I wanted to try a more natural approach and wean off the medicines. I have been able to do that and working with Heather has been amazing.
First time trying Acupuncture . Heather has been a lifesaver and a great addition to my life!! Highly recommend!
Have been going about every three months mainly for general health but just had a session recently where I said to Christine I have hemroid issues and am sure that’s not what she can help. Well wow! Within a day the issue got better. Not totally gone but I am so surprised in the reduction!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
