From the reviews

I have had nagging neck and shoulder pain for years, and traditional physical therapy hardly touched it. Myofascial release with Megan has, over about 5 sessions roughly a month apart, nearly relieved it 100%. I have high hopes for relief of sciatic pain as well.

★★★★★ — Vicki, Sep 2024

I've been looking for a new massage therapist for about a year now and was so happy to have found Meagan. She is professional, knowledgeable and most importantly she is a comfortable person. She took her time to listen to me and my body and addressed all concerns accordingly.

★★★★★ — Vanessa, Jun 2021

I have been seeing Megan for over a year now and she is just incredible! Her expertise and awareness are apparent in every touch throughout the massage session. She is well educated in massage and continues to educate herself with workshops and trainings.

★★★★★ — Jeff, Apr 2018

Megan is so skilled. In my first time back to see her after giving birth, she was able to address all of my needs. She takes time to understand what it is that you would like worked on and can therefore focus on specific places which may be more painful than others.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
