From the reviews
I had an amazing experience at Agape Physical Therapy in Webster. Tyler was a great trainer who helped me rapidly gain ankle stability and strength. I came in struggling to walk down stairs as I had excruciating shin splints from Football and Tyler figured out the root of them immediately.
Agape is a small therapy location, but has lots of equipment for different types of programs. Claire runs the office with friendly efficiency, and the therapists are friendly and professional. Phil has worked with me for about a month now, and my progress has been noticeable.
The best physical therapy I’ve ever encountered and I’m very particular as I am a retired occupational therapist! Phil is a phenomenal therapist. If he doesn’t know the answer to something, he’s usually looked it up while I’m still at PT and has my answers before I leave.
Both Ben and Kira take the time to see how I'm doing with the exercises I'm doing. They are always checking how my 1 knee is doing because it does have arthritis in it. If you need physical therapy I highly recommend Agape Physical Therapy in Penfield.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
