From the reviews
I’ve been going to Julie at Stillwater Massage & Bodywork for about a year now, and she is by far one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever been to. She’s incredibly experienced and somehow finds every knot and problem area within minutes of me getting on the table.
If you need a good deep tissue massage, don't bother going anywhere else! I do a lot of manual labor and so I routinely have pretty severe knots and back pain, but after going here, I feel allllll better for a good few months! Very calming and relaxing space that helps make for a very centering experience!
Absolutely satisfied with the expierence. Time went quickly. I felt Julie is quite knowledgeable about the human body and it’s workings and can detect exactly what is needed to relieve pressure
I’ve had many massages in my life but this!!! I have been struggling with leg pain, throbbing, cold legs for years and I was recommended to Julie and received my 2nd massage in 2 weeks. This was the best experience and relief I have had ever. Julie is amazing and so knowledgeable.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
