From the reviews

I have used APT-GB for three separate surgeries over the past 2 years and have always been stuck with Kristina and Keira! Not saying this is a bad thing. Contrarily, I would love to be stuck with Kristina and Keira for all of my future surgeries, as well.

★★★★★ — Raymond, Jan 2025

This was my first time doing any kind of occupational or physical therapy and it was really pleasant and definitely helpful! I did not have a major injury, but the time it took to see improvement was much faster than I expected, and both Keira and Kristina were great to work with.

★★★★★ — Chelsea, Mar 2024

APTC was AMAZING!!! The staff is extremely friendly, caring and supportive. I was motivated by not only my therapist but the entire staff!! The therapist and assistants are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Donnell was the absolute best!!! He spent countless hours working with me to get me back on track.

★★★★★ — Stacey, Jan 2025

I graduated from Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy with Dr. Amy Kennedy and I had a wonderful experience! Dr. Kennedy is kind, compassionate, and very knowledgeable! She helped me heal in so many ways and I am truly grateful to have had her for my Physical Therapist!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
