From the reviews

I was recently treated at Spirit of Health for Achilles tendinitis and a sore calf. I also received a cupping treatment. Drew was able to isolate and remove tension in my calf. The treatment greatly reduced the pain and discomfort in my Achilles. The office was clean and welcoming.

I have chronic upper back pain and this was my first time trying out cupping and acupuncture. Dr. Drew is very knowledgable and skilled. He explained everything thoroughly and made me comfortable. After a few sessions, I have seen improvement in my pain level and range of motion. I will definitely be back!

★★★★★ — Amanda, Jul 2024

By working with Drew I have finally found relief for chronic head, neck, and jaw pain that I dealt with for two decades. I had never tried acupuncture before and admittedly came in as a skeptic, but after the first session my reservations were gone.

★★★★★ — Kenzie, Oct 2024

Drew is kind and compassionate offering healing and restoration. I’m grateful that he has helped me learn more about myself and what triggers my migraines and has helped me determine what I can do to help reduce migraines but also offered support for what I need to eliminate migraines.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
