From the reviews
Nikki is incredible. She is insightful, perceptive - she often knows what’s ailing me before I do. She goes above and beyond to get you feeling better, incorporating elements of massage, cupping, guasha etc. to complement her acupuncture treatments.
I decided to become a Firefighter at age 41 which isn’t typical. I came to Nikki with my blood work and was thinking I needed to get on testosterone because I was fatigued and nervous about the grueling Fire Academy that was looming.
Nikki and Kendra are both super awesome and have had such a positive impact on the healing and maintenance of my body and mind. Both are very knowledgeable and attentive to the different connections between emotional experiences and how they can manifest in the body.
Absolutely LOVE Nikki. She is the best at what she does. Nikki makes it a point to go over each and every one of my concerns. We always have great conversations along the way. She makes something that I’ve been so scared of feel so easy. I hate needles and she is very gentle and accommodating.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
