From the reviews
I have never felt so relaxed after a massage until I had Erica as a masseuse. The pressure was perfect and she knows exactly where on my shoulders would need extra massage. I'm so glad I agreed to her suggestion of using the cupping method as I felt a big difference on my shoulders even a day after the massage.
Brittney at Intuatouch is amazing! I have gotten a lot of massage with many different therapists over the years because I have a bad back which is aggravated by standing on my feet all day at work for long hours. Brittney is hands down the most talented therapist I’ve ever seen. I tell everyone about her.
Brittney is super amazing! She is extremely easy to communicate with, very comfortable to be around, caters each massage to that specific day and how you are feeling, she is the perfect amount of relaxing touch and therapeutic touch that you know you’re body is getting proper treatment and relief.
Brittney at The Everett Massage Co-op is hands-down the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. I’ve been seeing her for 3 years now, and she somehow delivers the exact perfect mix of “please destroy this knot in my back” and relaxing spa-level ahhhh.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
