From the reviews

For 4 months, I was unable to lift my left arm over my shoulder. I was diagnosed by my doctor with bursitis in my shoulder and he prescribed a cortisone injection. I didn't think it was a skeletal issue, but took his word for it. 2 months later: no improvement, so I started to look for alternative treatments.

★★★★★ — Brenden, Dec 2024

I started acupuncture because I was experiencing pain that was limiting my ability to move my legs properly and run. It was incredibly frustrating, especially since running is important to me. After a couple of months of treatment and a well-structured plan created by Gretchen, I was able to start running again.

Rashell is truly exceptional. When I first started treatment, I was struggling with severe lower back pain that made it difficult to stand upright and even walk comfortably. Through her skill and expertise in acupuncture, she helped me regain my mobility and significantly improve my quality of life.

Carpel tunnel! If you are waking up in the middle of the night maybe several times with your hands “asleep and numb” i would do just about anything for that feeling to stop. I was told surgery was the ONLY thing that would “fix it” and only surgery! A friend recommended acupuncture.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
