Adam is a fantastic physical therapist! I’ve been seeing him regularly for almost a year. He listens and attends to my bodies needs each week, adapting and tailoring his approach to treatment and changing up exercises, stretches and manual manipulations.
Adam is an amazing physical therapist! I’ve been to 3 other therapist before Adam and never had any progress. After being with Adam for over a year I am pain free in my back! I now see him here and there for things like dry needling and cupping.
Sam has helped me so much in the last few months. The one-on-one attention with personalized exercises for my specific needs has reduced my pain level as well as increased muscle strength. She is also up on the latest therapy techniques like cupping and dry needling.
Highly recommend Claudia Cuevas at Renew Wellness as I am being treated to strengthen my hip after a replacement and some sciatic back and leg symptoms. Very knowledgeable, caring, and professional! What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
