From the reviews

I went to Smile Massage and Spa for the first time during a trip to Honolulu. It was a quick and safe walk from Marriott Waikīkī Beach Resort, which was well worth my time. Lily did one of the best 2 hour massages I have ever had, complete with free hot stone and hot towel.

Lily and Cici was great - I wanted a soft massage, and she was great. We both fell asleep and felt so much better. My partner did cupping and they were very accommodating! Will come back again!

★★★★★ — Jenna, Feb 2026

I love this place - well priced and good massages. I usually come for a full body, but today I came for a chair massage and Li Li was so great! She was maneuvering my shoulders to get all the right spots and I left feeling much more loose.

★★★★★ — Tamar, Mar 2026

Really good massage, best I had in years. I like really strong massage, and I tend to get strong and pressure on the wrong places because I am very skinny. She could find the muscles perfectly and apply stong pressure in the right spots. Sami was amazing! 10/10

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
