From the reviews
Dr. Megan Rooney is truly a gem! She helped me not only with postpartum symptoms, but also with neck and back pain I’ve struggled with for years. Her approach is incredibly well-rounded—cupping, dry needling, targeted exercises, and proper form coaching to get the best results.
Megan is amazing!! Came to her with really bad TMJ to the point food became difficult to eat. She did an amazing job not only helping me get range of motion back in my jaw, but helped stopped the constant clicking and popping of my jaw. She is amazing and kind and is really supportive of the people she works with.
Dr. Meg is absolutely incredible. She takes such a valued interest in her clients to ensure each person is getting the truly unique care that is required. She is kind and it is easy to tell from the very beginning that she truly cares and wants her clients to be successful in their healing journey, whatever that may…
Meg is fantastic! I found her after my doctor said pelvic floor PTs were hard to come by, and I’m thrilled I found her. She’s so friendly, informative and motivating. The exercises are great and easy to incorporate into my normal exercise routine, and she always supports whatever efforts you’re able to make.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
