From the reviews

Riverside's location in the Phoenix room is spacious and full of natural light. The slow flow class was sneaky hard, requiring a longer hold on familiar poses. There are bathrooms galore and high quality blocks and straps available!

I was referred to Riverside to get a massage by James Murphy. One of, if not the best massage I have ever had. I had a real problem with my shoulder and some super tight/sore muscles. I mentioned before hand that I can handle a pretty strong massage, and he definitely did not disappoint.

Riverside is amazing. The teachers, owners and space generate meaningful and positive vibes constantly. It has a wonderful sense of community that fills the air. The teachers are passionate about their classes and students. There are a variety of different classes offering something for everyone.

First time customer and will be back. Incredible massage experience with Jared. Really good understanding of the body and helped work through some specific back issues I was having. I would highly recommend

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
