From the reviews
Lily's massage and cupping therapy are so good. I've been having SI joint pain more than 6 years and after receiving her therapy, the pain disappeared for at least 5 days. I couldn't believe it!!! Her hands are so smooth and her pressure is so deep. John Jay is also wonderful.
Seth is amazing!! Through a friend’s recommendation, I ended up on his table and boy am I glad I did! By far, one of the best massages I’ve ever had. He found all the tense spots and worked through them with such a wonderfully strong yet gentle touch. HIGHLY recommend him and I will be going back very soon!
I’ve been going to sky bodywork for a bit over a year now and have really benefited from the massages I’ve been getting there. I think the variety of styles from the different massage therapists there is a big plus for exploring what you may like and receiving more specialized work when you’re looking for it.
I have just received a superb massage from Rose, who is energetic, thoughtful and intuitive. She was careful to ask questions before beginning my treatment and adjusted pressure as needed. Thank you, Rose, for a fantastic massage!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
