★★★★★ — Megan, Sep 2022

I have been seeing Jessica for 8 months after my old acupuncturist relocated out of the city. I feel very comfortable with Jessica and look forward to the relief and relaxation I feel after each visit. Acupuncture appointments with her are the only treatment that relieves my upper back pain.

★★★★★ — Kailee, Aug 2022

This winter I was in a traumatic bike accident that left me with a broken vertebrae, rib, and strained rotator cuff. I had to take over a month off of work due to severe back and shoulder strain/pain. My body doesn't agree with narcotic pain medication and I needed an alternative.

★★★★★ — John, May 2018

I’ve been seeing Jessica for over three years now and have no plans to ever stop. She is so incredibly kind, attentive, and supportive. She always listens to whatever I have going on in life/health wise and tailors the treatment to those needs. Most recently I have been dealing with a painful endometriosis diagnosis.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
