From the reviews
Working with Jill has been a dream and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to take more control over their health. She is a fountain of knowledge about function medicine and I consider her to be an integral part of my overall wellness plan.
Jill is just the best! I have been going to Jill for over 2 years and I have seen so much improvement in my health. She has supported me with balancing my hormones, managing/building up tolerance to stress and has drastically improved my endometriosis symptoms through acupuncture and functional medicine.
Jill's services have introduced me to outlets that have helped me more holistically understand my body and how to optimize it through the power of functional medicine. Her practices have provided me with education that I would have never been able to discover without her direction.
I feel like a new woman. I just finished Badwater 267...a virtual race where I had to run 267 miles in 16 days. I was a mess. After one acupuncture and cupping treatment with Jill, I feel fully recovered. She also helped release a chronic sacroiliac issue I’d been having. Have NOT felt this good in a long while.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
