“Ash was my first experience with acupuncture so I was incredibly nervous to give this therapy a shot & with someone I never worked with before & wasn't sure what to expect from it.”
From the reviews
Save Point Acupuncture & Wellness has been such a lifesaver for me over the past 6 months: I have had lifelong neck/shoulder issues, and earlier this year, something tweaked and I found myself in excruciating pain. Thank goodness for Ash and Johnny!
I've been receiving acupuncture from Ashley for well over a year now and she's wonderful! I go for general maintenance every month, and it's something I look forward to, as I always end up feeling good and well cared for after I leave.
I met Ashley while she was employed as an acupuncturist elsewhere. I could tell pretty quickly that she outshined the rest of the place in professionalism and personality, and was able to find out it was true firsthand.
I have been going to savepoint for about 3 weeks now for my bells palsy and have seen significant results, I have almost healed when nothing else was working. Additionally, each time I go I am asked if there are any other issues going on and a treatment plan is done based on any new symptoms/conditions.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
