From the reviews

Melody has been a life saver for me. I work in construction, live a very active lifestyle and I wouldn't be able to do either of those things without her help. I have been seeing Melody for almost a year now, every 6 weeks or so and with her care I live a pain free life.

★★★★★ — Matthew, Mar 2024

Melody is an insanely talented massage therapist. She’s knowledgeable in a wide number of modalities. Her office is so calming, I usually feel better just walking in there. She has helped me immensely with chronic low back stiffness as well as my occasional muscle spasms in my upper back. Couldn’t recommend her more.

★★★★★ — Jamie, Oct 2023

Melody is truly the best therapist I have ever had. Every time I come in with pain or discomfort, she works patiently and skillfully until I feel real relief — she never gives up. What sets her apart is how deeply she listens and how much she genuinely cares about her clients.

★★★★★ — Susan, Feb 2026

Melody did a thorough intake to begin and asked all the right questions. Her bedside manor was impeccable and her studio was clean! I’ve had several massages done in the past and this was by far the best. She started off with reflexology and then worked on my back and arms. The pressure was perfect for what I needed.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
