From the reviews

Highly recommend Melissa for massage. I’ve been having right side ear, jaw and neck pain (TMJ) I opted in for the TMJ massage with cupping. Hands down the best massage 💆🏻‍♀️ if had is a long time. Thank you Melissa, see you in 3 weeks!

So full of information and knowledge of what she is doing. If you have pain in your back and ever wanted to try cupping, this is your sign to schedule with Melissa at Methods and get relief. The "pain" you feel isn't really pain, it's that you can actually feel it working. It's satisfying.

I had an amazing 75-minute massage with Melissa at Methods Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, and it was everything I needed! As a Holistic Healing Practitioner who works with other people’s energy, it’s important for me to ground and replenish myself.

Melissa was nothing short of amazing. I have had a migraine for 20+ days and couldn’t find anything to relieve it. I asked for recommendations from friends for a good masseuse and had a few friends mention Melissa. She quickly replied to my message and brought me in.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
