From the reviews
Laura was amazing! After a few weeks of not feeling myself because of serious upper neck and back pain, I decided to try acupuncture and found Greenfield which was super local for me. As soon as I left her office after my first visit I felt such amazing relief.
Experienced chronic neck and upper back pain for 4+ years. CAT scan and MRI didn’t uncover any issues. Message therapist suggested acupuncture. Researched providers in my area and chose Greenfield because of Laura’s terrific ratings, she does trigger point acupuncture, which can be helpful for muscle pain, and she is…
My experience at Greenfield Acupuncture was truly amazing! Laura’s approach to patient care is kind and thoughtful. As a first time acupuncture patient, I was nervous. Laura took the time to listen closely to my concerns and goals, outline my treatment plan clearly, and answer the numerous questions I had.
I finally found relief at Greenfield Acupuncture with Laura Greenfield! I have chronic knee pain and get gel shots every 6 months. After being treated by Laura within 24 hours I had relief and better mobility than I've had in years. Not wanting to have surgery yet, I thought I would try acupuncture.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
