From the reviews
I had a 13 day stent of constipation. First time in my life experiencing constipation. Waiting for a G.I. appointment I was miserable! Just by fate, the only acupuncturist that could get me in immediately was this magician! He had me stop all over the counter laxatives, teas, stool softeners ect.
Dr. Wang is amazing! He helped me with several different issues including neck and upper back pain as well as hormone imbalance and stress. Dr. Wang is very professional but also has a sense of humor which I really appreciate. His prices are fair and his treatment plans are reasonable.
I highly recommend Dr. Wang at Sandy Springs Acupuncture for anyone interested in exploring acupuncture for pain or other ailments. Before seeing Dr. Wang, I had debilitating back pain for 18 months that was impacting my quality of life.
Dr. Wang is Very insightful. He knows the body and how to help with pain. I refer my clients to him because I trust his approach to health & wellbeing. I will continue to see him myself for trigger points and organ health. I appreciate you Dr. Wang for your expertise, and your service to the community.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
