From the reviews

I went to see Lindsay at Salt of the Earth yesterday for a very sore neck, chest, and back, and the experience was incredible. Lindsay is the kind of massage therapist who truly listens to your body.

★★★★★ — Jack, Sep 2025

If you’re looking for a clean, holistic, and community-oriented massage practice, look no further. Salt of the Earth is exceptional. The entire staff—especially the owner, Lindsey—is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely cares about your well-being.

★★★★★ — Myly, May 2026

Super calming space, relaxing spa-like massage rooms, and amazing massage therapists! Meghan was the best. I went in for really bad shoulder/neck tension and she worked her magic to help me release all the pent up stress in my shoulders. I feel so much better now. Plan on coming back soon!

★★★★★ — Katie, Jan 2026

I went for a full body massage by recommendation of my husband, and picked Sadie as he had recommended her for me. I have to say; she was more amazing than the $300 resort massage I got in Hawaii a few years ago.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
