What clients say about the cupping here
From the reviews
I love this place. Super accepting. Very welcoming. I'll be going here as long as I love in Bellingham.
I would highly recommend Dr David, I felt like I needed to look into my health and Dr Z has been a blessing! My blood pressure was way high at times and I had just tried 3 different medication that did not work, I have had sinus issues and a cough for years, I have pains throughout my body and also have been taking…
I used London Health Center for their acupuncture service. If you haven't done acupuncture before, I highly recommend it -- it feels wonderful, and though I was a little apprehensive about being poked with needles, it didn't hurt at all. In fact, it felt wonderful.
100% Recommended this clinic. Very helpful, understanding, and informative with your health needs.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
